Mark Shipton Elected Member RIBA Council

Congratulations to Mark Shipton who is now a Regionally Elected member of the RIBA Council, representing the RIBA South, commencing on 1 September 2019.

The RIBA is governed by a council of members, elected from among the RIBA membership, the majority of whom are chartered architects. Chaired by the president, Council meets periodically throughout the year and is ultimately responsible for the conduct and development of the Institute. Council passes down detailed responsibility and technical focus to the RIBA Board and main committees.
