Significant Improvement in Pharmacy Services

Hillingdon Hospital’s new robot dispensary opened on time at the start of October 2016.

A former unloved storage space within the lower ground floor podium building at Hillingdon Hospital has been substantially reconfigured and refurbished to form the new robotic pharmacy dispensary.

Oxford Architects worked to a very short programme starting in April 2016 with only 6 months allowed for the design, tender, construction and installation of the robot.

After the first couple of months, the Trust has already seen a “significant improvement” in Pharmacy services.
