Strategically located in Bridgwater Somerset and originally farmland, Oxford Architects achieved planning permission for this circa 100 acre site through a masterplan strategy designed and developed to encourage economic growth to the area.

The site has now been fully built out into a thriving business park that incorporates multiple use classes. Facilities created to date include industrial, commercial, retail, government and leisure sector operators. This ensures that the site now employs over 2,300 people on a 24-hour basis.

A key design driver was the intensive landscaping strategy woven around and between the buildings that allows the different uses, scales and massings of the buildings to soften out and generate green thresholds to the more rigorous buildings behind.
